a person belief in their ability to do a task
you have what it takes to complete a specific task for specific situations
generalized self efficacy

represent the belief in one’s general ability to perform across different situations
low generalized self efficacy can lead to learned helplessness
a lack of faith in your abilities to control your environment
self esteem
the extent to which people like or don’t like themselves
overall self evaluation
locus of control
how much people believe that they can control their fates with their actions
internal and external locus of control

you believe that you can control your own destiny
external locus
you believe that external forces control you
emotional stability
the extent to which people feel secure and unworried
the extent to to which they feel negative emotions under pressure
lower levels lead to anxiety
emotional intelligence
