postulate
Statements accepted without proof, state something obvious, and form the basis of a logical system
Postulate (no name)
A line contains at least two points. A plane contains at least 3 points
Line postulate
Through any two points, there lies exactly one line (lines are straight.) Two points determine a line.
Plane postulate
Any three points lie in at least one plane. Any three non collinear points lie in exactly one plane. (3 noncollinear points determine a line)
Flat plane postulate
If two points lie in a plane, then the line containing them lies in that same plane. (Planes are as flat as line are) (Planes dont curve.)
Theorem
A statement that can be proved using definitions, postulates, and/or previously proven theorem
