translatory motion

all parts of the body move the same distance in a given time which can be characterized by displacement, velocity, and acceleration.
rectilinear motion

object in translational motion is moving along a curved path.

farther from centerpoint = u gotta go faster
points on the body has the same angular quantities, but linear quantities are varying
