Undefined terms
The basic building blocks of geometry, which include the point, the line, and the plane.
Point
A geometric figure with no dimension (0 dimensions), represented by a dot.
Line
A geometric figure with 1 dimension, represented by a double-headed arrow.
Plane
A geometric figure that has 2 dimensions and is represented by a flat surface.
Point Naming Convention
Labeling a dot with a single capital letter, such as Point A or Point M.
Line Naming Convention
Naming a figure using two points on the line in any order, such as LC or CL, often written with a double-headed arrow symbol above the letters.
Plane Naming Convention
