Covenants
__________________ is like our relationship with God. It is also based on mutual trust, loyalty, and faith in one another. The Scripture provides several stories of how God has entered into covenant relationships with His people through leaders or prophets.
Friendship
These are agreements wherein the mutual obligations or duties are clearly stipulated or written down. In common legal terms, we call these contracts. The contracting parties promise to observe certain rules, and to mutually perform certain tasks for their own welfare or the welfare of the community.
Explicit or Written Covenants
These are considered as unwritten agreements which are normally based on mutual trust and expectations from one another, set either orally or through practice. An example would be our relationships with friends. Our expectations of friendship are not written; however, these expectations build or break harmonious relationships
Implicit or Unwritten Covenants
God promised him salvation from the great flood.
Noah
God promised him to bless His descendants.
Abraham
God promised deliverance to the Israelites from the hands of the Egyptians and enter the Promised Land of Canaan.
Moses
_______________ between God and human is based on trust or faith in Him. We entrust ourselves to Him because we believe that He is a God who will bless, support, protect, and guide us in our daily lives. Formally, we entrust ourselves to God through the sacrament of Baptism.
the covenant

Our relationship with God is guided by the supreme law of love of God and neighbor, in the same way that our human relationships are guided by different human laws that prosper the common good.
Laws
Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.
I Am the Lord your God, you shall not have other gods before Me.
To use God's name in vain means to use His name in a frivolous or vulgar manner.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
The word holy means something that is sacred or dedicated to God.
Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.

You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
The commandment refers to desire to the point of seeking to take something that belongs to another individual.
You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.
