Nursing

Nurses do

diagnosis and treatment of human responses, advocacy in the care if individuals families, groups, communities, and population in recognition of the connection of all humanity

Healthcare consumers

people or groups that are the focus of nurses' attention receive services as sanctioned by state regulatory bodies. Term reflects focus on health and wellness rather than reaction to disease and illness

Registered nurses

individuals who are educated and licensed by state/ territory/ gov./ entity To practice.

Graduate level prepared RN

RNs prepared with masters or doctoral education level with advance training/ skills by elements of nurses role. Not required to have additional regulatory oversight

Advanced practice registered nursed (APRN)

graduate level prepared rn who are preparing for nurses special licensure recognition and practice for one of the 4 APRN roles.
