What is the traditional Christian view on homosexuality?
Traditional Christians believe homosexual acts are sinful because they go against God’s plan for sex, which is between a man and a woman in marriage. And the plan is for two souls fusing when procreation happens, which is supposedly the purpose of sex.

Leviticus 18:22 – “Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.”
The word “detestable” means something that is strongly disapproved and literal christians often say this is still relevant in this day and age.

They believe the Bible was written in a different time and culture, and its teachings should be interpreted differently in today’s context of love and equality and even the scientific evidence behind homosexuality being a “choice”
