What is a proper noun?
Name of a specific person
What is common noun?
A name given to a class of people - City, teacher, Player, river and City
What is collective noun?
A name given to a group of people - herd, flock, army
Abstract Noun
Denoting to Idea, quality or state - Happiness, Sadness, truth, lie. If you can replace these word with a thing then it is a noun. Example - Truth is not a lie or something is not a lie

What is countable noun?
Nouns that can take singular or plural for “s”. A countable noun will always be accompanied by a or an.
