Reproductive System
organ system by which humans reproduce and bear live offspring
Ovaries
produce egg and sex hormones such as estrogen and progesterone
Fallopian Tubes
passage way for eggs from ovaries to the uterus and provide site for fertilization.
Uterus
also called the womb, this is where the fertilized egg implants and grow into fetus during pregnancy.
cervix
allows menstrual blood to flow from uterus and serve as pathway for sperm to enter uterus.
Vagina
also know as birth canal, allows menstrual blood to exit the body and lets that baby passes during birth.
Penis
made up by shaft and head
Scrotum
sac-like organ hanging behind and below the penis. It contains testes, nerves, and blood vessels.
Epididymis
c-shaped tube at the backside testicle. transport mature sperm to the urethra.

responsible for testosterone and sperm production
vas deferens
long, muscular tube that travels from epididymis to pelvic cavity.
Seminal Vesicle
produce fructose that provides energy to sperm as they seek an egg.
Prostate Gland
produce fluid that help sperm move more quickly through female reproductive organ.
Amplexus
the reproductive mode in externally fertilizing species.
Monogamy
mating system where females and males select each other to couple.
