What is a histogram

A histogram is a graphical representation of the tonal range in an image

What does a histogram do

It shows how much of your scene will record as a shadow, how much as a highlight and how much in between

What is Aperture

It is the opening in a lense which light passes to enter the camera

What gives more light in aperature f/4 or f/22

What is another critical affect of apperature and what does it mean

Depth of feild is the amount of your photograph that appears sharp from front to back

What does a thin or shallow depth of field mean

Background is conpleatly out of focus from front to back f/2.8

What is a large or deep depth of feild

Both foreground and background are sharp f/22
