Data Range
A set of cells in Excel that contains related data organized in rows and columns.
Header Row
The first row in a data range that contains the field names.
Field
A column in a data range that holds data about a specific attribute of an item.
Record
A row in a data range containing a set of related field values.
Data Definition Table
A document that lists field names, data types, and descriptions for each field in a data range.
Conditional Formatting
A feature in Excel that allows users to apply specific formatting to cells that meet certain criteria.
Remove Duplicates
An operation in Excel that eliminates duplicate values from a selected range of cells.
Sorting
The process of arranging data in a specified order, either ascending or descending.
Subtotal
A summary statistic calculated for a specified section of a data range.
Filter
A method to hide rows in a data range that do not meet specified criteria.
Excel Table
A structured range of data in Excel that provides features like sorting, filtering, and automatic formatting.
Calculated Field
A field in a table that contains a formula to derive its value based on other fields.
Slicer
A visual filter in Excel that allows users to easily filter data in tables and PivotTables.
Dashboard
A visual display of key metrics and indicators used to monitor and analyze performance.
Dynamic Charts
Charts in Excel that automatically update when the source data changes or is filtered.
VLOOKUP
A function in Excel that allows users to look up information in a table based on a specified value.
