Side effect: Raises BP, worsens asthma, and increases diarrhea

TXA. Give route, indication and other name:

IV or oral

Stops severe bleeding by preventing blood clots from breaking up.

Tranexamic acid

Magnesium Sulfate. 2 indications.

Fetal neuroprotection

Treats mom’s preeclampsia and prevents against seizure

Vitamin K

Given to newborn as they do not produce this for 7 days while their intestinal bacteria starts to build up. It is given to prevent excessive bleeding.

erythromycin ointment

Applied to baby’s eyes after birth to prevent against ophthalmia neonatorum and neonatal conjunctivitis which may cause blindness.
