Bacterial Gastroenteritis - occurs when bacteria causes an infection in your gut and causes inflammation in your stomach and intestines. Parasitic Gastroenteritis - caused by large numbers of gastrointestinal nematodes that reside in the person's abdomen and intestines.
Symptoms: Viral Gastroenteritis - diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting, low-grade fever, pain in abdomen, belching, gagging, indigestion, flatulence, chills, dehydration, fatigue, lethargy, lightheadedness, loss of appetite, fast heart rate, headache, insufficient urine production, weakness, or weight loss. Bacterial Gastroenteritis - loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pains, and cramps, blood in your stools, or fever.
