For the light , the student should notify the supervisor and dust the light with a damp cloth then disinfect the same area. If the wet pack is still in surgery they should take the pack out and disinfect that area then but away the tool in the proper way and start the sterilization process for them

Yes sterility has been broken they must then fully undress and restart the sterile process

Endogenous - comes from the patient, long hair, can be prevented by proper clipping before surgery. Exogenous comes from the room or you. An example could be hair this can be prevented with a hair net or cap

During a preanesthetic history, an owner says, "My dog has been drinking a lot more water lately." What follow-up questions would you ask, and why could this information influence the anesthetic plan?

How much water do they normally drink and out of what size bowl. If its too much water easier to vomit

A 10-year-old Labrador with a grade III heart murmur and well-controlled chronic kidney disease is scheduled for a mass removal. Which ASA Physical Status classification would most likely apply, and how might this influence anesthetic planning?

PS2 this is a moderate risk and would want to keep them on a little amount of gas. Not real change to the plan

No it can not be used for surgery sterility has been broken. And we don’t know what broke the pack it could anything so we plan for the worse

The importance of communication is key. The consent and really knowing the risk if its an older knowing know it might die while under. Medication history is key because the owner might not consider fish oil a medication but there is still something that is needed to be known. And fasting is very important too and knowing that no food at all was given not just no breakfast no treats no nothing.
