In the New Testament , god isn’t just the father of all creation but of Jesus also, Aramic ‘abba’ is ‘my father’, showing gods approachability to all humanity

God as king

Absolute power, sovereign, Jesus as the messiah and king, 1 of the main purposes of Christian life is to bring about the kingdom of god on earth

Problems with anthropomorphism

1. Limits gods power, bringing him down to human level

2. Questions the consciousness of god (brain state)

3. Creator difficulties (can’t be transcendent)

4. Wish fulfillment (Freud) to fulfill human desires
