2 digit number
A number composed of two numerical positions representing the tens and ones places, used in operations within 100.
Ones
The place value in a number representing the single units digit.
Digit
A single numerical symbol from 0 to 9 used to form numbers.
Tens
The place value in a number representing groups of ten.
Vertices
The corners or points where the sides of a shape meet; students are required to identify these to name or draw shapes.
Attribute
A characteristic or feature of a shape, such as being closed or having a specific number of sides.
Side
The line segments that form the boundary of a 2-dimensional shape.
Closed
An attribute describing a shape where the boundary is continuous with no gaps.
