Intro

Parks library is the main library on campus with different types of spaces for studying, tutoring, meeting new friends, and even has a studio to record professional videos. Has outlets and charging stations everywhere. You can borrow tech from tech lending and use desktop computers, printers, and scanners. You can get help from main desk, subject special librarians who are available for every ISU discipline, and IT solutions center

Fun and books

Fun things such as giant chess game, student performances, and de-stress activities. Library has 5 floors with books on every one. Oldest book is from 1475. Books would go on for 25.5 miles if you set them in line. Over 2 million items in library. ISU history preserved in 4th floor archives

Computers

Computer labs available throughout campus and students have access to printers as well which they can use with printing credits. First computer built here and it was the size of a small room.

Study Abroad

Study abroad office is in library and each college has own office. Some programs more affordable than a semester at ISU. Programs offered on all 7 continents and can range from a week to an academic year. Study abroad fair every fall and spring.

Cyride

Cyride is a bus system shared between ISU and ames with 13 routes. Route information and bus times in mystate app. Student parking at jack trice stadium, residence halls, and more affordable motorcycle parking.
