Internal / dispositional attributions are WHAT
Any explanation that locates the cause as being INTERNAL to the person (personality, mood, abilities and effort)
External / situational attributions
Any explanation that locates the cause as being EXTERNAL to the person (actions of others, nature of the situation, social pressures or luck)
