Endometrium
The inner lining of the uterus which undergoes changes during the menstrual cycle.
Myometrium
The middle muscular layer of the uterus that helps in childbirth.
Acute Endometritis
Inflammation of the endometrium defined by polymorphonuclear leukocytes, often due to ascending infections.
Chronic Endometritis
Rare condition resulting from complications of acute endometritis, characterized by stroma infiltrated by plasma cells.
Pyometra
A condition defined as pus in the endometrial cavity, often associated with anatomical defects.
Endometrial Hyperplasia

A precancerous condition marked by atypical glands and increased mitotic activity.
