Social interest

urge in human nature to adapt to the conditions of the social environment

Finalism

individuals are oriented towards goals that guide their behavior, many of which cannot be proven and are judged by their usefulness

Striving for Superiority

the strive for competence and effectiveness in whatever one strives to do, inferiority feelings arise from childhood dependence, which leads us to strive for it in the first place. (women usually feel under this because of social roles)

Style of life

unique way each individual seeks to cope with environment and develop superiority

Ruling Type

someone who is aggressive and dominating is usually the typical bully and falls as the first child in a family constellation

Getting Type

someone who is dependent and needy is the typical damsel in distress and falls as the youngest child in a family constellation.

Avoiding Type

Someone who is an escapist they avoid people and say, “I don’t want to deal with that.” They fall as the middle child in a family constellation

Socially useful type

someone who is socially compatible and is nothing like the other three types
