The creature watches Felix, Agatha, and their blind father.

  • Safie, a Turkish Christian woman, unable to speak French, is taught by Felix. The Creature eavesdrops, and he learns to speak and read.

  • Paradise Lost by John Milton (he relates to Satan and Adam)

  • The creature discovers Victor’s journal pages from when Victor abandoned him

  • The Creature waits until the blind father ( De Lacey) is home. when Felix, Agatha, and Safie return.

  • They panic → Agatha faints → Safie runs → Felix attacks the Creature and it runs into the woods.
