Hope

A grace which enables people to love as Jesus loves. It empowers a person to love God for God's sake and other people for God's sake.

All who share in the gifts God gives through baptism, including those now living, in heaven and in purgatory.
Eucharist
The sacrament by which believers share in the Paschal mystery of Christ's death and resurrection by receiving his Body and Blood in the form of bread and wine.
Liturgy
The official public worship of the Church during which people gather to remember and celebrate all that God has done for them.
Purgatory
The final purification after death that people need in order to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joys of heaven.
Passover
A Jewish feast celebrating God's action of saving his people from slavery and death in Egypt.

The last meal Jesus shared with his disciples, at which He instituted the Eucharist.
Advent
marks the beginning of the liturgical year. It is a time of special prayer when Christians prepare to celebrate the feast of Christmas.
