Extraordinary Fu-Organs
Organs that include marrow, brain, bones, uterus, vessels, and gallbladder; exhibit characteristics of both hollow and storing functions.
Marrow
Generated by the Kidneys, nourishes the brain and spinal cord, produces bones.
Brain
Referred to as the 'Sea of Marrow', connects with the Heart and Liver, controlling intelligence and memory.
Bones
Governed by the Kidney, involved in storage of marrow and providing structure and strength.
Uterus
Regulated by Kidney Jing, functions include menstruation and pregnancy support.
Gallbladder
Stores bile and is unique for not connecting directly to exterior; connected to digestive functions.
Heart-Lungs Relationship
Interactive relationship where the Heart governs blood and Lungs dominate Qi, important for respiration.
Heart-Liver Relationship
Cooperative interaction that ensures normal blood circulation and regulates mental and emotional activities.
Heart-Kidneys Relationship
Mutual support between Fire and Water; essential for nourishment and mental stability.
Spleen-Lungs Relationship
Spleen governs Qi and Blood generation, while the Lungs control respiration.
Heart-Spleen Disharmony
Condition occurring when insufficient Heart blood fails to nourish Spleen, leading to various clinical manifestations.
Liver-Spleen Disharmony
Combination of disharmony where stagnant Liver Qi invades the Spleen leading to digestion issues.
Kidney Essence
The foundation of Shen, interrelated with Heart function regulating vitality and mental activity.
Liver-Blood Deficiency
Condition resulting from prolonged Spleen dysfunction leading to insufficient generation of blood.
Lung-Kidney Disharmony
Imbalance affecting fluid metabolism, characterized by respiratory difficulties.
