No defiinitive conclusion. The potroom has other noxious agents such as sulphur dioxide, PAHs, flourides, CO and caustic soda which can cause respiratory symptoms.

How is Aluminium Produced?

Bauxite (55% Aluminium ore) converted to Alumina through the Bayers Process followed by electrolysis in the potroom. Noxious gases produced in potroom and workers develop Asthma like symptoms which can persist even after leaving.
