Commonly sold produce
Market items including corn, cabbage, lettuce, spring onions (shallots), eggs, peanuts, papaya, pineapple, local apples, guava, sugar cane, green pepper, taro, chilli, and bananas.
Setting a price too low
A pricing situation where you will probably sell everything, but you may not make a profit.
Factors in product pricing
The total calculated expenses required to make a product and get it to the market before deciding on a final selling price.
Crop input costs
The expenses required to grow crops such as tomatoes, including seeds, fertilizers, or pesticides.
Market overhead and labor costs
Expenses associated with bringing produce to market, including your or someone else's work or labour, transport cost to market, and the cost of selling space at the market.
