What is stipulated in Clause 3.2 - Information to be supplied by the Manufacturer?

If there is an item that is not captured in the spec, then Approval from UW will be needed.

It also requires that as per the Contractor’s Quality Management Plan, all PE pipe >DN315 shall be supplied with a “Certificate of Compliance” from the manufacturer promising compliance with

• AS/NZS 4130: PE pipes for pressure applications.

• AS/NZS 4131: PE Compounds

• PIPA POP004: PE Pipes and Fittings Compounds

This is essentially to ensure compliant features of the following:

1. Product Specification Sheets

2. Product Certificate or Analysis

3. QA Production Performance Sheets

4. OIT Testing Results, incl. details on Thermal Stability in relation to pipe size

5. Extrusion Report Sheets (Speed, Melt Temp Control, Extruder)

6. Extrusion Line checklist w/ wall thickness tolerances

7. Ovality Check Sheets
