What was the apparatus required for the experiment?

  1. Add 5g of sugar, 2g of yeast, 50g of bread flour to a large beaker

  2. Measure out 60cm³ of water

  3. Little by little, pour the water into the beaker. Stir the mixture each time you add water. Stir till smooth

  4. Slowly pour 20cm³ of the mixture into each measuring cylinder. Use a stirring rod to push down the mixture

  5. Put the cylinders in 3 different places with different temperatures. Use the thermometers to record each temperature.

  6. Leave for 30 mins

  7. Read the new volume of dough in each cylinder.
