Engine Fire On the Ground/During Start

If fire occurs DURING Engine Start

  • Mags: continue to engage starter

  • Mixture: idle cutoff

  • Throttle: FULL

  • Fuel Pump: off

  • Fuel Selector: off

If fire occurs AFTER Engine Start/On the ground

  • Throttle: 2000 RPM until fire out

In both cases, if fire lasts longer than a few seconds

  • Mixture: idle cutoff

  • Master: off

  • Mags: off

  • Fuel Pump: off

  • Fuel Selector: off

  • Master: off
