Human Life Cycle
The sequence of stages that a human undergoes from childhood through to old age.
Puberty
The period of maturation from child to adult, typically occurring between ages ten and fourteen, marked by development of primary sex characteristics.
Adolescence
The stage of development between puberty and adulthood, usually between ages ten and nineteen, marked by significant emotional and psychological changes.
Nutrient-Dense Foods
Foods that are high in nutrients relative to their calorie content.
Preventive Nutrition
Dietary practices aimed at reducing disease risks and promoting health and well-being.
Menopause
The time marking the end of a woman's reproductive years, defined as one year after the last menstrual period.
Food Insecurity
The state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.
Anaphylaxis
A severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction that can occur rapidly.
Energy Requirements
The number of calories a person needs to consume in order to maintain their body's energy balance.
