Must add protective ends and remove the portions of mRNA that are not needed for protein building (not protein building instructions)

What enzymes are used to cut out the portions of mRNA that are not needed for protein building?

Spliceosomes

What are the not needed portions called?(portions that are spliced out)

Introns (which may be possibly remnants of viral genomes)

What portions are needed for protein building and left in the mRNA? (Portions that are spliced together)

Exons (they are expressed as a protein later)
