Mechanism of Action
α1 → vasoconstriction ↑ BP; β1 → ↑ HR & contractility; β2 → bronchodilation
Cardiac arrest adult dose
1 mg IV/IO (1:10,000) every 3-5 min
Anaphylaxis adult dose
0.5 mg IM (1:1,000), repeat every 5 min PRN
Severe asthma adult dose
0.5 mg IM
Contraindications
None in life-threatening situations
Precautions
Cardiac disease, hypertension; Elderly; Risk of arrhythmias

1:1,000 ampoule; 1:10,000 prefilled syringe
