People in higher positions in society are best at making decisions for all of society, authority comes from above

Society should adapt to changing circumstances rather than reject change and risk rebellion or revolution

Society made of self interested and self sufficient individuals (egotistical individualism)
Noblesse oblige
Duty of the wealthy and privileged to care for the less fortunate
Anti-permissiveness
Rejection of permissiveness, belief that people should make their own moral choices suggesting there is no right/wrong
Anti-radical
Against belief of drastic political, social and economic change, radical solution opposed by conservatives
Human imperfection
Humans are flawed making them incapable of making good decisions for themselves
