Stakeholders

Program Manager

An individual who provides leadership and direction for the project managers heading the individual projects within a program.

Project Portfolio Management

An organizational practice where projects and programs are grouped and managed as a portfolio of investments from a strategic perspective to contribute to enterprise success.

Portfolio Manager

A professional who helps organizations make wise investment decisions by selecting and analyzing projects from a strategic perspective.

Project Management Institute (PMI)

An international professional society for project managers, founded in 1969, offering resources, tools, networking, and professional certifications.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

An entry-level project management certification offered by PMI that students and entry-level professionals can earn.

Project Management Professional (PMP®)

A professional certification offered by PMI to individuals who document sufficient project experience, agree to follow a code of ethics, and pass the PMP® exam.
