Conscientiousness
A personality trait that indicates a person's level of organization, dependability, and goal-directed behavior.
Big Five Personality Traits
A model that includes Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Openness to Experience, and Extraversion.
Psychological Capital (PsyCap)
A positive psychological state characterized by hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism.
Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)
Behaviors that enhance the effectiveness of groups and organizations but are not part of a formal job description.
Goal Orientation
A framework that includes Learning Goal Orientation and Performance Goal Orientation, affecting motivation and creativity.
Creativity
The ability to generate novel ideas that further an organization’s goals, often linked to individual and organizational factors.
Efficacy
The confidence to put in the necessary effort to succeed in tasks.
Altruism/Prosocial Behavior
One of the types of OCB, which focuses on helping others and contributing to the welfare of the organization.
Learning Goal Orientation (LGO)
A motivational orientation where individuals seek to master new skills and are willing to take risks.
Performance Goal Orientation (PGO)
A motivational orientation focused on proving competence and avoiding situations where one might fail.
Hope
In PsyCap, this refers to persevering toward goals and being able to redirect when necessary.
Resilience
The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; a component of PsyCap.
External Communication
Encouraging interactions with outside experts and presenting research to maintain innovative practices.
Creativity in Organizations
Fostering and developing innovative ideas and solutions through structured training, a supportive climate, and appropriate leadership.
Positive Self-Reflection
The practice of reviewing one's thoughts and actions positively to enhance performance and well-being.
Subjective Well-Being
An individual's self-reported assessment of their happiness and life satisfaction.
