Can clear odometer to zero to measure specific distances traveled on a trip and can be used to determine gas mileage.

Fuel gauge

Shows amount of fuel remaining in fuel tank. The store next to the fuel icon indicates the side of where the fuel cap is.

Temperature

Temperature light monitors the cooling system function.

Reading on the temperature gauge near H is an indication if trouble.

what to do if temperature gauge is near H

Immediately pull over in a safe place, shift into neutral, and allow engine to idle. Do not continue to drive if the gauge does not return to normals. Engine can be seriously damaged if driven away while it is overheating. Running the heater can cook engine, even on a hot day. Heater uses engine heat to warm air in cabins. Running heater full blast will remove lots of heat away from the engine.

Used to maintain, increase and or decrease speed ( small pedal on the left)

Foot positioning: position heel of right foot on the floor do the ball of foot can pivot between pedals

Left of accelerator, large pedal used to slow or stop the vehicle

Smallest pedal on the far left

Can be used as an emergency break, used to hold vehicle in place when parked or could be a hand operated leaver near center console

Should the parking break be used year round?

MK when parking in freezing weather don’t use the brake linings could freeze to the brake drum and disk if necessary block tired with rock or other heavy objects.

Low or high beam - pull toward you or push away

Located on left side under instrument panel

Gears

Two pedals (automatic) left is brake right is accelerator (left to right)
