Computer Engineering
Combines education in hardware and software development, with students gaining the background necessary to become broadly-educated professionals who are knowledgeable in both domains, understanding how the domains interact, restrict, or enable interdependent capabilities.
Electrical Engineering
The curriculum emphasizes design, teamwork, ethics, entrepreneurship, and civic responsibility, preparing students to understand the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts. Students engage in hands-on learning through small classes and close faculty mentorship, covering topics such as circuit theory, digital systems, microprocessor design, and applied electromagnetics.
Mechanical Engineering
Provide students not only solid fundamentals of mathematics and science, strong design and analysis skills of mechanical engineering, but also develop graduates who are conscientious citizens and aware of their ethical responsibilities in a global society.
Computer Science and Software Engineering
Stresses computer programming and people-centered software development processes. The program offers a multidisciplinary approach that will enable students to develop a wide range of competencies needed for success in the dynamic and varied field of software applications. These include analysis and problem solving techniques; communication and business management skills; in-depth understanding of the software design and development process; and a solid technical foundation to allow students to continue to learn new and complex techniques.
Applied Computing
Helps you to become an expert in combining computing technology with another interest area in preparation for your future career. This program is highly relevant today, as computing expertise is needed in almost every field – the possibilities are endless!
Mathematics
Equations and problem solving. Established and growing field with students pursuing careers in engineering, actuarial science, database and computer systems administration, network and data communication analysis, statistical analysis, secondary mathematics teaching, and other fields.
Physics
Focuses on the physical space around you. Give students the opportunity to master fundamental laws and model-building techniques, awaken them to the power of the universe, and support knowledge in mathematics, engineering, and other fields. Develop skills that are highly valued in industry and all types of organizations, including numeracy, problem solving, data analysis, and the communication of complex ideas.
Science, Technology, and Society
Opportunity to bridge their passions across topics like politics, science, law, artificial intelligence, democracy, data, philosophy, and more. Academic and other learning experiences enhance students’ ability to think critically about the production of scientific and technological knowledge, and increase their skills in strategic communication, cultural analysis, and research methods.
Data Visualization
Aability to identify trends, provide insights, and illustrate the societal impacts of different forms of data while critically engaging with data visualization software and programming languages. Emphasizes fundamental elements of database management, data analysis and visualization, information systems, and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
