Equal Field System

A tang dynasty land system where the government gave farmers land, with about 1/5 of that land eventually passed down to their children and the rest returned to the government

Turkish people who were allies of the Tang but eventually betrayed the Tang and led to the Tang’s decline

The practice of binding girls’ feet to keep them small, had to do with Confucianism and it saying women were supposed to keep to the “inner quarters”
