Work Stress
Physiological and/or psychological reactions to an event that is perceived to be threatening or taxing.
Physiological Reactions to Stress
Increased heart rate, increased respiratory rates, increased blood pressure, and profuse sweating.
Psychological Reactions to Stress
Feeling anxiety, fear, frustration, and mental disengagement.
Situational Stress
Stress that arises from the environment.

Stress that arises from an individual’s personal characteristics.
