Head System

The intellectual dimension of a person's worldview made up of basic beliefs.

Heart System

The foundational dimension of a person's worldview made up of values and feelings.

Basic Belief

An idea that answers foundational questions and composes a person's head system.

Worldview

The lens of basic beliefs and values through which facts and evidence are understood.

Cornerstone

An illustration used to portray how a worldview functions as a foundation that you build on.

Metanarrative

An overarching story that provides the necessary context for a person's set of beliefs and values.

Presupposition

An underlying bias or assumption that a person holds prior to examining evidence.

Ultimate Faith Commitment

The foundational starting point found when tracing someone's chain of thought back to the first link.

Knowledge

A matter of both the heart and head that is always moral.

Faith and Fact

The two components that always get mixed together whenever someone offers conclusions about evidence.

Worldview Apologetics

An approach to defending the faith in which Biblical revelation serves as the ultimate proof.

Revelation of God's Word

The ultimate authority source for any truth claim.
