We honor Mary, the Blessed Mother, over all humans and saints because Mary was born without Original Sin, so she is perfect. Mary also bore and raised Jesus, our Redeemer.

The sin of idolatry is present in the world today because many people idolize their phones by spending more time on them than they do spending time with God, many people worship celebrities, and many people view wealth with a higher importance than a love and worship of God.
What does the Real Presence mean in reference to the Eucharist?
The Real Presence in reference to the Eucharist means that when consecrated, the gift of bread becomes the actual Body of Jesus Christ, soul and divinity, under the appearance of bread. The Eucharist is not just a symbol but the actual Body of Christ.

It is not possible for a person to find perfection in this material world because God created humans with a desire for him that nothing else in this world can satisfy. Nothing material in this world is perfect and can satisfy you like God can.

Noah, his family, and the many animals he collected on the ark were saved from water -> Christians are saved through the waters of Baptism

Abraham offers his only son -> God offers his only Son
Isaac carries the wood for sacrifice -> Jesus carries the cross
Isaac escapes death after 3 days -> Jesus rises from dead on 3rd day
Abraham tells Isaac that God will provide a lamb -> Jesus is the Lamb of God
The ram is caught by its horns in a thicket->Jesus wears a crown of thorns

- Both are beloved sons
- Both go to Egypt because of persecution

Manna from heaven->The manna was bread for the body, the bread from heaven we now receive will give us eternal life.

- Moses strikes the rock and water gushes out->Roman soldier pierces the side of Jesus and blood and water gush out
- Moses made the Sinai Covenant on behalf of the Chosen people.-> Jesus made a New Covenant with all people

-Unblemished lamb->Jesus is perfect.
-Flesh of the lamb must be eaten, or the sacrifice is not complete.->Jesus told us that we must eat His body and drink His blood to have eternal life.
-Unleavened bread->Just as Jesus and His Jewish disciples used unleavened bread, so we use unleavened bread at Mass.

Parting of the Red Sea/Baptism and Salvation
The Israelites found freedom from slavery in Egypt by crossing the Red Sea-> Chrisitans find freedom from slavery to sin through Baptism
Prefigurement/Typology:Israelites out of Slavery in Egypt/Jesus' Resurrection defeats sin and death
Celebrates the freedom from slavery in Egypt into the Promised land.->Jesus' sacrifice gains for us freedom from the slavery of sin and entry into heaven.
