ALS (advnaced life support)
The use of specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors, defibrillators, intravenous fluids, drug infusion, and endotracheal
basic life support (BLS)

consent to recieve emergency care that is assumed because the individual is unconscious underage or so badly injured or ill that he or she cannot respond

law that encourages individuals to voluntarily help an injured or suddenly ill person by minimizing the liability for any errors or omissions in rendering good faith emergency care
