Chapter Bylaws: Integrity/Character
“Members are expected to act at all times as upstanding citizens as well as exceptional students of the University of South Carolina. Infringements of integrity and character include but are not limited to: not upholding a professional image, maintaining an inappropriate online presence, failing to respect other groups or individuals, and failing to abide by the law.”
Chapter bylaws: Misrepresentation of the Chapter
“Members are expected to represent the fraternity at all times in a professional manner. Potential misrepresentations of the fraternity include but are not limited to: the illegal use of drugs and alcohol, the failure to uphold the fraternity’s values and purpose, the poor representation of the fraternity at professional or informal events, and lacking professionalism in fraternity proceedings or events.”
Chapter Bylaws: Contribution
“Members are expected to actively contribute to the fraternity in a satisfactory manner. Each person should strive to consistently maintain and improve the standards and reputation of the fraternity. Each person is expected to carry out their elected or assigned duties. Members are expected to surpass the ‘bare minimum’ in any assignment.”
How are warnings given out for reprecussions?
Given verbally with all members on exec present.
What is probation like?
Required to come to all meetings and events, excluding social events. Cannot participate in voting, big/little assignments.
