Confucianism

A Chinese philosopher and teacher in the court of a prince who lived from 551-479 BC and stated the teachings of Confucianism.

Analects

A collection of the teachings of Confucius.

Five Relationships

Rosh Hashanah

The Jewish holiday known as The New Year.

Yom Kippur

The Jewish holiday known as the Day of Atonement.

Passover

The Jewish holiday celebrating and remembering the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.

Canaan

The place of origin for Judaism, alleged to be the promised land promised by God.

Abraham

The founder of Judaism who was chosen by God to lead the Jewish people and created a covenant with God.

Covenant

A big promise that lasts forever created between Abraham and God, where God promised great land and Abraham promised to obey God.

Moses

The individual considered the greatest prophet in Judaism, who delivered the enslaved Israelites from Egypt and received the Ten Commandments from God.

The Exodus

The historical event of the Israelites leaving Egypt under the leadership of Moses.

Ten Commandments

The guiding laws for religion delivered by God to Moses on Mount Sinai.
