The division between the two groups led to the creation of the Martha, a Hindu warrior group, which fought the Mughals and Muslims. The Martha caused the Mughal Rule to end in India.

The Pueblo and Apache started the Pueblo Revolt and fought colonizers who tried to convert them. This affected the development of the Spanish Empire because it kept them out of the Americas in 1692.

Although there was diversity between religions in the Americas people formed Syncretic belief systems and adapted to christianity. Akbar the great was similar to the syncretism in the Americas because he also tolerated all religions.

For example Vodun was formed in the Americas. Vodun was a fusion of Christian beliefs with African traditions which shows the acceptance of christianity.

The king of Kongo was asking to restrict European merchants in their towns as well as the goods Portugal brought to them. These letters allowed the Kongo to have some limitation over European influence.

The growth in maritime technology, such a ships, compasses and astronomical charts allowed for greater exploration and expansion of states.

Europeans used technology advancements to develop maritime empires and prosper through them. China for example realized they had everything they needed so they discontinued exploration.

The Indian Ocean carried goods such as silk, porcelain, technology, and spices. During 600 to 1450 and later time periods apices were highly valued, and Indian ocean trade allowed them to be spread throughout regions.

Joint stock companies allowed for more trade in that the risk of exploration and commerce could be spread among people. Portugal begun an armed control of ports around the coast and trading post empires were introduced. Trading post empires also led to an increase in trade in the Indian ocean.
