Cranial hard palate
Anatomical structure located at the front of the roof of the mouth.
Filiform papillae
Thread-like structures on the tongue.

Large papillae located at the back of the tongue, containing taste buds.

The muscular tube connecting the throat to the stomach.

Glands located in the fundus of the stomach, responsible for secreting gastric juices.

The outermost layer of the adrenal cortex, responsible for producing mineralocorticoids.

The middle layer of the adrenal cortex, responsible for producing glucocorticoids.

A small endocrine gland in the brain that produces melatonin.
Kidney cortex
The outer region of the kidney containing the renal corpuscles.
Renal corpuscle
The initial blood-filtering component of a nephron.
Ureter
The tube that carries urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder.
Urinary bladder
The organ that stores urine before it is excreted.

The lining of the respiratory tract.
