Concentric Zone Model

A large urban city in less developed countries (LDCs) with populations exceeding 20 million, dealing with extreme poverty and rapid growth.
Megapolis
A large urban region created by the merging of several cities, such as the Miami metropolitan area.
Smart Growth
Rules and regulations established by cities to manage urban expansion and promote sustainable development.
Peripheral Model
An urban model describing a city structure with a CBD surrounded by large suburban neighborhoods and edge cities.
