it was led by low nobility of castille who proclaimed joanna as the only legitimate queen of spain - no success but led to changing some of charles’ ways

king learnt spanish, he did not use the royal treasury to send payments abroad, only apoint castile and aragon nobles instead of flemish, a lot of nobles from the revolt were pardoned, charles control over the castilian nobility.
