Dim Headlights
When driving at night, dim your lights within 150 m of an oncoming vehicle or within 60 m of a vehicle you are following.
Maximum Speed Limits
50km/h in cities/towns/villages; 80km/h anywhere else.
Safe Following Distance
Two seconds behind the vehicle in front of you.
Passing a Cyclist
Maintain a minimum distance of one metre when passing a cyclist.
Slow Moving Sign
Indicates a vehicle moving at 40 km/h or slower.
Approaching a Stopped School Bus
Stop at least 20 m away from the bus.
Uncontrolled Intersections
Yield right of way.
Distance from Train Tracks
Stop 5 m from passing train.
Passing near Pedestrian Crossovers
You must not pass any vehicle within 30 m of a pedestrian crossover.
Roundabouts
Travel counter-clockwise.
Passing Snow Plows
Never pass slow moving snow plows under any condition.
Stopping for Streetcars
Stay at least 2m behind the rear doors.
Parking - Clear View
Do not park anywhere you do not have a clear view of 125 m in both directions
Parking - Fire Hydrant
Do not park within 3 m of fire hydrant.
Parking - Bridge
100 m on or within a bridge.
Parking - Public Entrance
6m of a public entrance.
Parking - Intersection
9 m of an intersection NOT controlled by traffic lights.
Parking - Traffic Lights & Rail Crossing
15 m of traffic lights & rail crossing.
Emergency Vehicles
Illegal to follow within 150 m of a fire vehicle responding to an alarm.
Driving in Heavy Fog
Use low-beam headlights.
G1 Driver Supervision
A g1 driver may practice driving under the supervision of a licensed driver w/ 4 years of experience driving

G1 driver supervisors BAC must be lower than 0.05%
Changing Name or Address
Notify the Ministry of Transportation within six days of change.
