Isip (Mind)
The human capacity for understanding; enables thinking, reasoning, discovery, and interpretation of knowledge.
Kilos-loob (Will)
The power to decide or choose based on information gathered by the mind; it is free and directs action as good or bad according to understanding.
Isip and Kilos-loob (Mind and Will)
Twin faculties that distinguish humans; they work together and are inseparable; wisdom comes from a well-formed mind and will.
Mga Hayop (Animals)
Have limited understanding; cannot reason, reflect on themselves or relate actions to experiences; lower level of mind than humans.
Mga Tao (Humans)
Possess higher awareness; can understand, reason about causes, anticipate consequences, and reflect on their thinking.
Katotohanan (Truth)
Reality understood or discovered; living truth leads to service and love; truth motivates good actions.
Pagmamahal (Love)
Affection for others expressed through self-giving and care.
Paglilingkod (Service)
Voluntary actions of helping and serving others.
Tama (Right)
The correct or appropriate choice and action in a given context.
Mabuti (Good)
Something that contributes to personal growth and the common good; discerned through reason and conscience.
