Alliteration
Repetition of a consonant, especially at the start of words

A figure of speech that identify a similarity between two different things. For an analogy, the comparison is made clear and obvious, and often a lot more detailed.
Similes
the use of the word ‘like’ or ‘as’ when drawing the comparison.
Metaphor
does not use the word ‘like’ or ‘as’ and instead just states that some thing ‘is’ something else
Exaggeration
exaggerates the true situation for dramatic impact
Hyperbole
Hyperbole is an exaggeration that is deliberately humorous and over the top, often to deliberately draw attention to the ridiculousness of a situation (not meant to be taken literally, but do have an element of truth)
Pun
A pin is a language technique that uses a word or phrase with more than one meaning or words that sound similar to create humor, make a message memorable. or emphasize an idea”

What technique? “A school os like a garden. If gardens water the plants, pull out weeds, and care for the soil, the garden becomes a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. In the same way, when students pick up rubbish, respect school property, and help keep their surroundings clean, the school grows into a welcoming and positive environment”

Similes
What technique? “A clean school becomes a shining lighthouse, attracting new families and students”
Metaphor
What technique? “Pick up your rubbish. Pick up your responsibility. Pick up your pride in our school.”
